CargoTrak

ASI's CargoTrak system leads the way in accurate, reliable electronic air freight data collection, tracking, and retrieval. CargoTrak provides an efficient, comprehensive, and easy to use means to scan your cargo. Tracking follows each item, from acceptance through final destination, giving the user all of the tools necessary to identify where each freight item is physically located at all times, including accounting information.

This enables the user to track shipments quickly and accurately, inventory/locate shipments in warehouses, and collect and store weight data for aircraft loading. CargoTrak takes everything from a basic to a complete airway bill into its database, which can be updated by standard cargo operations messages or from our optional scanner program. All barcode enabled labels are compatible with this system. Full support of bins and containers, including nesting, is included to provide faster, simpler load and transfer operations.

The end user is able to search air waybill labels in order to know the location and status of the cargo in your system at any point in time. After scanning, data will be uploaded to the tracking site as well as to the SPECTRUM Air Waybill Sales System, if you are user of this module, utilizing standard IATA messaging formats.

The end user sees what has been Booked, Tendered, Loaded, the Flight Number, Routing, Arrival, Transfer, Final Destination Arrival, and Customer Pickup or Delivery.

Air waybill package information is available to the Shipper, Consignee, and Carrier Agent through the use of the public Internet. They can see data such as the number of pieces, weight, dimensions, rate/commodity code, etc. For the financially responsible party, they can also see the rate per pound/kilo, taxes, surcharges, etc. The current location, by airway bill number, is available on the Web, without PIN code access, for the customer.
